Going through session after session and soaking up vital information from speakers is common in any given conference. There’s plenty to gain from these sessions, tailored to equip water professionals with the necessary skills for the future.
The aim of Ozwater’18 is not only to provide information necessary to build an innovative and sustainable world, but to also provide delegates with a number of opportunities to build their professional network, rub elbows with the industry’s best and brightest, as well as interact with peers from other states.
Here’s the rundown of all the Ozwater’18 networking events you need to attend, to be on top of your professional social game:
- On Monday night, before the formal proceedings begin, head over to the Welcome Networking Evening at the Soleil Pool Bar, Rydges South Bank, between 6pm and 8pm to meet peers before the main event, whilst enjoying canapes and drinks in a casual evening setting.
- Following a full day one of the conference on Tuesday, unwind with colleagues at the Happy Hour at the Club House. Located at the Club House at the Ozwater'18 Exhibition area, the event runs between 5.30pm and 6.30pm.
- The Gala Dinner and Australian Water Awards on Wednesday is one to attend. The celebratory evening is the highlight of the Ozwater’18 social program, as industry excellence is recognised with the announcement of the Australian Water Association National Water Awards. You’ll also get to enjoy a three-course dinner with drinks and entertainment. Don’t miss out on your chance to find out who takes home the gongs for Water Professional of the Year, Young Water Professional of the Year and more.
